- Please send your responses to the questions in two
separate emails to [weinman]. Put your answers for Part

Please send your work as text pasted into the body of the message.
Do not send an attachment.

- What should you do to prepare for class?

other students (for this class)?
- How can you obtain help from me? From your fellow students?
- Include the sentence "I have read and understood the Academic
Honesty policy for CSC-211." (Of course, if that statement is
not currently true for you, you must ask questions-in advance of
the assignment due date-until it is.)
- What questions about the class do you have that aren't answered by
the Web site?
- Part C:
- Write up answers to the following questions about yourself.
- What name do you prefer to be called? [Optional: What are
your pronouns?]
- Who is your advisor? (If not CS, what is your major?)
- Where are you from?

- Please list any CS courses you have taken besides 151 and 161. If
you have taken PHY 132 or PHY 220, please list those, too.
- What other course(s) are you taking this term? (Please give course
titles as well as numbers.)
- Which of my regularly scheduled office hours (if any) are you able
to attend? (That is, which do not conflict with a class or other regular
obligation.)
- What do you expect to learn or gain from this course?
- What are your concerns for this course?
- Tell me something about yourself that you'd like me to ask you more
about later (e.g., your goals, a hobby, a book that made a big impression
on you).
- What questions do you have for me that have not already been answered?
- Part D:
- Do some other (pre-course) activities
- If you haven't already, sign
up for Piazza.
- Read the materials for the next class, as shown on the
schedule.
After you turn in this lab, you should do the reading for Tuesday.
